As I sat by this small waterfall back in May of 2008, I remember many thoughts that ran through my head.
The thoughts of how wonderful it was to view this small waterfall, the smell of the fresh air and wild flowers that lay beside the river banks, the sound of the water splashing over the rocks and landing in the pools of water.
Living in a big city takes away from us the joys of nature, quietness, solitude, freshness and simple things in life that we miss so often.
I am a nature boy by trait and I have many stories under my belt of all the traveling that I did when I was younger. I will be sharing some of these stories with everyone in the months ahead.
The main reason that I am sharing this post with you today is I would like you to (Bookmark) this post and try to make a plan with your families, loved ones, friends and plan a day out. Maybe a picnic by the Lake or River, maybe at the beach, maybe just somewhere in the woods.
It can be a weekend thing or just for the day.
As your out on your little trip, picnic, etc, I would like all you every other hour of your fun to just close your eyes for a moment. Smell the fresh air or food cooking on the grill, listen to the birds and the noises we really miss in the city, listen to the sounds of water splashing or the sounds of children having fun.
Then slowly open your eyes and look where you are an view the beauty that is in front of you, and think to yourself I really like this. This is a great time and I am so glad Robert suggested this little trip I am on.
And when your back to work in the city the following week, close your eyes and try to imagine your experience and the way you felt a couple days ago. This is a good experience!
Robert's suggestion is to repeat as often as needed.
And please don't forget to share with us your time spent within yourself at this group.
