SUNSET

I would like to put out a special thanks to everyone that has commented on my posts with photographs. Your positive comments and love for beauty help me to understand that I am not alone. For me a photograph is a stopped" Frame in Time that can show a person, area of a country, animal, object, part of nature and so many more different wonders of the world.

I have been studying and shooting photographs for over 30 years and it is one of my loves of life. I don't just grab my cameras and start take photographs. I look at the angle, background, and anything in a scene that may make a perfect shot. Many times this can be very difficult.

So, once again everyone, your comments always help me to bring you what you have always wanted to see, but could not be there at that  " Frame in Time. "

 " THANK YOU "

I love sunsets more than any other " Frame in Time "

Property Investments in LAS VEGAS-NEVADA (Think Now)!

LAS VEGAS - NEVADA by Robert Swetz

PROPERTY INVESTMENTS IN LAS VEGAS-NEVADA (THINK NOW)!

Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the world with approximately 3,000 visitors per day.

Yes Las Vegas was rated at the top for forclosers, but that's because of the crooked Loan officers, mortgage companies, banks, etc. What would anyone expect in Las Vegas, everyone is looking to win the jack pot, become a star, or make the fast money.

Approximately 60-65 percent of Politicians are Attorneys and they have huge Real Estate investments all over the United States. Once a new President is Elected (God help us), you are going to really see some activity in the Real Estate market. And one of those places of activity will be in Las Vegas.

  Venetian Hotel/ Casino

If your are familiar with Las Vegas (the meadows), you can drive East & West of the city and after about 30 minutes driving on either side of the city you are stopped by mountains. Homes have been built as far East to West as they can go. North to South continues to grow towards Reno to the North, and California to the South. But then again the building is limited because of the mountains and the city of Las Vegas being in a valley.

The focus of the building is in High-rise Luxury Condos.

      MGM Hotel/Casino

If you have visited Las Vegas lately or have seen photographs, one can see that Las Vegas is building up, up, up! Belonging to the Las Vegas High-rise Association, predictions for High-rise Luxury Condos in in the hundreds in the next 20 years. Investors are planning to build approximately 10 buildings per year for the next 20 years. This is about 200 High-rise Luxury buildings, and let's just cut that in half which would around 100.

I myself would not invest into one of the new condos going up, but into older homes located on either sides of the (STRIP). As the building continues the dirt that these older homes becomes very, very valuable. When Steve Wynn built his new Casino there were several homes on one block that he wanted out of the way, he wanted to own all of the property on that block. When he first broke ground, Steve offered these home owners $1,000,000 and after 1-2 years at completion of his Casino payed $3,000,000 for each home. These homes were build back in the mid seventies and really only worth $500,000 each.

     Wynn Hotel/Casino

I am planning to purchase some more investment homes in LasVegas around November-December of 2008, because I believe this will be the best time to buy. The prices will rise in Spring, they always do, so (THINK NOW) if you want to own a part of the fastest growing place in the world!

We will have a new President this fall, (God help us) and many home owners will want to sell their homes before the new year. For tax reasons and home owners that have had their homes on the market forever.

If your interested in owning a piece of Las Vegas Nevada before it's to late feel free to search my MLS at:

I look forward to helping you with your investments.

THIS IS THE STRANGEST SEA HORSE I HAVE EVER SEEN!

When I first viewed these Sea Horses in a fish tank in Singapore, I could not believe my eyes. I looked real close and looked again and thought to myself, what are these strange creatures? Are they Sea Horses? They have some weird looking fins like a fish and a mouth like a Sea Horse.

This photograph was very hard to get even through a fish tank, so it is a little blurry. I have only one other pic out of many that showed up, but between the two this pics this one is better because there are two Sea Horses.

Can anyone please tell me what type of Sea Horses these are?

Thank You!

MUST SEE PHOTOGRAPH OF OLD TEMPLES BUILT BETWEEN 850 - 1120

This photograph is only showing 6 different temples out of 7,000 that were built in Bagan Myanmar (Burma). Early (circa 850-1120), Middle (circa 1100 -1170) and Late (circa 1170-1300).

On vacation in Bagan I spent 5 days and 4 nights shooting approximately 500 different photographs. From sunsets, sunrises, pics of temples (inside and out), statues, etc, I still didn't have enough time to capture all of Bagan.

To me, Bagan is one of the most amazing places on Earth and I will be visiting there quite often in the future. We would get up early mornings and wait until sunrise and look across the country side from the top of huge temples taking in the beauty. While looking across the horizon of Bagan because there are so many thousands of temples, they looked like ant hills.

I will be following this post at a later time in the future with some more breathtaking photographs of sunrises & sunsets, and many more temples.

Can anyone please tell me what kind of geese these are?

Can anyone please tell me what kind of geese these are?

I shot this photograph in Myanmar (Burma) at a huge flower garden May of 2008. I was trying to get some great shots of the flowers and then, look who comes along. These huge geese with bright red-orange beaks try to get in the way of my shooting, maybe they thought I was going to give the something to eat.

So instead of trying to push them out of the way, I snapped a shot. I will have to say these geese are some very beautiful looking creatures, and mean too. They wouldn't allow me to push them out of the way very easily.

Is there a way that the AR network is getting members to blog more?

I post blogs 4-5 times per day and I have been noticing something very strange when posting.

When I start to post a blog it will show approx 3,500 members on line. After about maybe 1-2 minutes into posting I can see that the number of members on line has dropped from 3,500 to 2,000, that can not be possible.

Here is what I think and correct me if I am wrong! The AR network gets money to run it's business by hits, clicks and posted blogs from members and any other person that may be interacting with the network.  When someone like me or another member logs on to AR and see a large number of members on line, we post a blog. To find out only minutes after the posting the numbers drop in half.

I really think that someone that works for AR should take a look at this issue and correct it, because these numbers showing members on line are false. And if these numbers are false, there may be other numbers outside of this issue that are false also.

I would like to mention to AR members if you are looking for the right time to post a blog, try not to look at how many members are on line because this number is inaccurate.

 Thank you for reading!

BEST SUNSET PHOTO OF THE WEEK?

Here a great sunset photo taken at a small lake just west of Reno two weeks ago. There are not many colors, but strange design that the sun makes on the horizon is very interesting.

If you look real close it looks like a angel wearing a robe with legs and feet outlined in a bright yellow color from the sun.

 What do you think?

 Is my imagination to great?

(PLEASE) No more REOs & Short Sales

I am so very tired of these Buzz words:   Foreclosed, REOs, Short Sale, Bank Owned, etc, etc.........

 Someone please make it stop!

The values of homes are going to continue to drop until after the Presidential Election, why? Because 65 percent of Politicians are Attorneys and they have large investments in Real Estate.

When is the best time to buy? I would say November - December! Why? Taxes, Taxes, Taxes

If a homeowner is sitting on a home that hasn't been selling for a very long time, they want to dump it before the start of a new year.

After the first of the year, we have a new President (God help us), and people are going to scramble. The News Media is going to tell everyone that the Real Estate crunch is over. Early Spring, you are going to see homeowners raising their prices because Agents are going to tell them the market is going up. Why?

Because Agents like me know what's going to happen and I am sharing this valuble information with you.

So, please don't let your buyer's hold out until Spring, they won't be happy with you!

PS I don't want to hear about forclosed homes, REOs, Short Sales, etc. You are boring me to death!

Take a look at these REOs!

FLOWER GARDENS IN MYANMAR (BURMA)

I jumped on line and noticed quite a few members logged in, so I thought I would share a very beautiful photograph with you as your getting ready to call it a night.flower garden

This photograph was taken last year at a very famous flower garden in Myanmar - Southeast Asia, very close to Mandalay. It is a very large park and there are thousands of flowers with water surrounding and walk-ways everywhere.

I was not real happy when I entered the flower garden because it cost me $10.00 American dollars which is 120,000 Kets. All Burmese are able to enter for free.

It was worth paying the $10.00 dollars because of all the photographs I took.

CAN ANYONE TELL WHAT THESE SEALS ARE DOING?

Driving down Hwy 1 in California just north of Morros Bay we came across this large groups of seals lying on the shore.

I was only able to capture just a few, there were hundreds of them.

Is this like one of your Real Estate conventions of the sea?

 Are the taking a nap?

SEALS ON BEACH

 Are they alive?

 Sunbathing?

 Drying out because their water-logged?
