Number #500 post "Who likes shopping at The Forum Shops at Caesars?" by: Robert Swetz

Who likes shopping at The Forum Shops at Caesars by: Robert Swetz

This is number 500 for posts at Activerain!

Just like the sign says 150 Specialty Shops and 15 great Restaurants.

If you have never been to Las Vegas, Nevada this is the place you want to see if you ever come here.

The Forum Shops at Caesars located inside Caesar's Palace is considered to be the number one Shopped place in (THE WORLD)! That's right the World!

This place is so big that you get lost in it. When I first moved here 7 years ago, me and my wife would get lost every time we went there. It took at least a week to figure out how to get back to our car to get out of the place.

I will be going into Caesar's Palace to take photographs of some of The Forum Shops tomorrow, 11-29-2008. So stay tuned for my posted blog tomorrow.

Forget the Turkey, I had Frog legs for Thanksgiving - by Robert Swetz

I have experienced so many Thanksgivings and I wanted to try something different then Turkey or Miss Piggy. So I tried some frog legs and boy were they good.

I hope everyone had a great "Thanksgiving with their family and friends" and I threw this out there for a laugh to mix up some of the other posted blogs.

No points for this post, over my limit so I can keep it short.

I really don't think Miss Piggy would be real happy with this blog.

What lies in the future for the Real State Agent?

Photo taken by Robert Swetz - Las Vegas Nevada

What lies in the future for the Real State Agent?

For some of you that don't already know, I am going to let the cat out of the bag.

I know with the holidays ahead that this is a very sad subject, but facts are facts. There are many Real Estate Agent's that are losing their homes, jobs, etc, because of our crushed economy.

If you are not one of those individuals and you are making great money, I would suggest you start putting your ducks in a row. Because it's coming around your neighborhood too.

This photograph above was shot this morning to show everyone that I work many different jobs. These are some of my clothes and tools that I use when working on a construction job at (Caesars Palace). Yes a construction job!

Everyone may be thinking, "I thought Robert was a Real Estate Agent/ Photographer?"

I am a licensed Real Estate Agent! And I have been working construction as a Glazier (Journeyman Glass Installer) for 30 years now. And I am a Professional Photographer. And I work and sell Jewelry at my wife's businesses when possible.

People may be thinking, "How can you be good at one certain job if your working so many different ones?" Well, it's not very easy!

I am a very good Photographer!

I am a very good Real Estate Agent!

I am a very good Journeyman Glazier!

I am a OK Jewelry Sales person!

People may be asking! "Is Robert bragging about all the different jobs he works?"

No I am not bragging! Do I have to work all these jobs to make ends meet? No I don't!

I have a home I own back in Minnesota where my mother, father, brother, sister and the rest of my family lives. I can go back there any time and not have to work at all! I own my home and it's not a big home, but it is the home I lived in before I met my wife Nu Nu.

Why am I working all these jobs in Las Vegas Nevada? Do you really want to know?

To help my mother and father back home because they are in their 70s, and they don't have a lot of money.

To send money back home to Nu Nu's family of eight back in South East Asia, because they can't afford to buy food.

Do I have to help my mother and father, and Nu Nu's family? No! So the big question, why?

Because I love my mother, father and Nu Nu's family! And I will do what ever it takes to support them in times of need. What comes around, goes around!

Everyone, please listen to me if you are feeling the crunch, do what ever you can to survive. Work what ever jobs you can to make ends meet because this will not last forever.

Put on your thinking caps and stop watching so much television. Stop sleeping so much and stop thinking poor me - poor me! My mind is always thinking on how I can make money to feed and help people I don't even need too.

I am very thankful on Thanksgiving Day that I have my health, strength and knowledge to work the jobs I do and help the ones I love!

"Happy Thanksgiving to all the Activerain members and may my blog help you in some way to prosper"

Please feel free to look at my new web site on Photography, it's not finished but it may cheer you up!

China Town - Las Vegas, Nevada - by Robert Swetz

Yes, there is a China Town in Las Vegas, Nevada and it is located at Wynn Road & Spring Mountain NW. Only 5 minutes from (The Strip) Las Vegas Blvd.

We live within minutes of China Town because of my wife Nu Nu's different business locations, and the convenience of the area.

I have focused on one particular restaurant named Mother's Korean Grill, displayed in the photographs below.

Photo taken by Robert Swetz - Las Vegas Nevada

Me and Nu Nu have eaten at Mother's Korean Grill several times and the food is very delicious, as you can see by the photos below.

Here is another break down of the dishes and names, some of them might be to small to read.

If you like Chinese food of any type of Asian food, it is all here.

And if your a Activerain member and you are planing a trip to Las Vegas, make sure you let me know. I will pick you up at the Airport and take you for some Asian food in China Town.

China Townis always very busy as you can see in the photo below. This photo was taken 11-26-2008, at around 11:00am when most people in Las Vegas are still sleeping. And look at the cars in the parking lot, on the weekends it's very hard to find a parking spot.

The last photo below is of a Famous Statue in China, and there is a long Ancient story behind this Statue. But I will have to explain the story another time in another blog.

I will be posting blogs to Activerain on the many wonderful restraunts in China Town and if you have never been there, make sure to plan a lunch or dinner there some time. You will really enjoy the food, it's wonderful.

One Queensridge Place - Las Vegas, Nevada - by: Robert Swetz

These high-Rise Luxury Condos are rated one of the top in Las Vegas, Nevada. And some very, very Famous individuals have homes here.

I can't tell you any names or I would have to kill you! (just a joke)

This project started several years ago and when I first saw the models I was blown away. Everything in these towers is the best. One Queenridge Place have there own rock quarry for the marble that is imported for flooring, counter tops, etc. The patterns of the marble I have never seen anywhere except at these towers.

Photo taken by Robert Swetz - Las Vegas Nevada

I didn't have time to go in and take photographs of the rooms, I have to get permission from the builder, etc. So for now I will share some great photos I shot from the outside.

If your interested in purchasing a condo at One Queensridge Place or just want to take a look, I will be more than happy to show you around. I will even take you to lunch!

When your taking a look at the models who knows who you might run into, a famous Actor/ Actress, famous musician, Artist, Photographer, ?

Photo taken by Robert Swetz - Las Vegas Nevada

All the comments from AR members helped me to decide to post another blog about the Auto Collections in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There are over 300 Classic Collector Cars in one of the largest showrooms in the World. I was very impressed and had a great time looking and photographing the cars.

If you ever come to visit Las Vegas and you like classic cars, this is a must see event.

It is located at The Imperial Palace on Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip) and don't forget your camera.

I have named some of the cars and if I have made any mistakes, please correct me. And remember, all these cars are for sale!
